So many festivals in Delhi 'coz so many cultures In Delhi there are infinite festivals, I got to tell you. As you know, Delhi is the capital of a secular and a multi-cultural country so festivals no bar.Perhaps India is a country with the largest number of national holidays. The Hindus here celebrate Diwali, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Maharishi Valmiki Day, Bhai Duj,Mahashivratri,Janmashtmi, Dusshera,Karwa Chauth. The Moslems celebrate Id-ul-Zuha,Muharram,Id-e-Milad,Id-ul-Fitr and the holy month of Ramadan.The christians celebrate Christmas, Easter and Good Friday. The Buddhists celebrate Cudh Purnima. The Jains celebrate Mahavir Jayanti.The Sikhs celebrate Guru Tege Bahadur Maryrdom Day,Guruparab. Then there are the national celebrations-Independence day and Republic Day. The celebrations and festivals mentioned above are only official!!!!Then there are the several unofficial ones!
























































































































































































































Diwali Christmas and Idul Fitar are the main festivals in Delhi. They are celebrated with much joj amongst people of all the religons. Diwali is the festival of light.
